Since CBS announced that the 12th season of The Big Bang Theory will be its last, members of the cast have been taking to social media to share their reactions. Reports suggest that the show’s end comes as a result of Jim Parsons’s desire to move on and tackle new roles beyond the inimitable Sheldon Cooper.
Mayim Bialik, who plays Amy Farrah Fowler on the show, already discussed her feelings in a blog post, but she expanded on her thoughts with a sweet video, where she took fans on a tour of the show’s set before sitting down in her dressing room to talk about her “mixed feelings” toward the news. Though she reminded fans that there’s a whole series to come before the final goodbye, she’s already looking to the future. “Part of me feels like, ‘Oh, now I get to see what the rest of my life will look like!’” she explained, before addressing questions about whether she’ll be heading back into academia when the show ends. See her answer above, then relive some The Big Bang Theory cast magic with their cutest behind-the-scenes photos.
