Prince Harry’s Promise With Girl at 2018 WellChild Awards

It’s no secret that Prince Harry adores kids, but his latest interaction with a little girl has us in a puddle of tears. On Tuesday, the royal attended London’s WellChild Awards with Meghan Markle, where the pair met with children who were honored for their bravery and courage. One of those kids was 7-year-old Matilda Booth, who has spina bifida and is paralyzed from the chest down. During their meeting, Harry and Matilda shared an incredibly sweet moment when Harry told her to “never stop smiling.” “He made her pinky promise to always keep that beautiful smile,” Matila’s mom, Sharon Booth, told People. “[Harry and Meghan] made us feel so much at ease. They were both so nice.”

And things only got cuter from there! Matilda presented Meghan with a bouquet of flowers, and in return, Meghan plucked one of the roses from the bouquet and gave it to Matilda to keep. “She just seems so gentle and sincere,” Sharon added. “They were just like normal people.” Yep, Harry and Meghan are going to make great parents one day.
